iOS Engineer
The iOS app is where Secure AI is most itself: chat, image generation, a media library, notes, tasks, projects, and health integrations, all in SwiftUI. It is also the app most people meet first, so how it feels is not a finishing touch — it is the product.
The most interesting work here is on-device. The strongest version of our privacy claim is the one where identifying detail never leaves the phone at all, and that is code that runs on iOS before anything is sent.
What you would do
- Build across a large SwiftUI codebase — chat and streaming, a media library, notes and tasks, HealthKit
- Work on on-device processing, including the redaction layer that strips identifying detail before a request leaves
- Own the App Store release path, from build settings to review
- Hold a high bar on detail — a screen that lands wrong is treated as a bug here
What we are looking for
- Real depth in Swift and SwiftUI, and opinions about when SwiftUI is the wrong answer
- Comfort with async work: streaming responses, cancellation, and the states in between
- Some exposure to ImageIO, AVFoundation, or Core ML — or the appetite to get there
- A portfolio of things you actually shipped, at whatever scale
