Terms of Use

Who we are

Secure AI is a security layer between people, businesses and AI agents and the AI models they use. We remove your identity and private details before your messages reach an AI provider, and we store your conversations encrypted.

Registration and access

Minimum age. You must be at least 13, or the minimum age in your country to use online services without a parent's consent. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

Registration. To create an account, you sign in with Google, Apple or Microsoft. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, and you may not share it with anyone else. If you use the Services for another person or an organization, you must have the authority to accept these Terms for them.

Using our Services

What you can do. As long as you follow these Terms, you may use the Services for any lawful personal or work purpose.

What you cannot do. You may not use the Services for anything illegal, harmful or abusive. For example, you may not:

• Use our Services in a way that infringes, misappropriates, or violates anyone's rights.
• Generate content that harms minors or is used to exploit or abuse them.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or discover the source code or underlying components of our Services, including our routing systems, algorithms, or security architecture.
• Automatically or programmatically extract data or AI outputs in bulk.
• Represent that AI-generated output was human-generated when it was not.
• Interfere with or disrupt our Services, including circumventing rate limits, restrictions, or protective measures.
• Use our Services to develop competing products or services.
• Use our Services to generate malware, cyberweapons, or content intended to attack infrastructure.
• Use our Services to harass, defraud, or deceive others.

Software. Our apps may update automatically so you always have the latest version.

Third-party services. We send your messages to third-party AI providers, such as Anthropic, OpenAI and Google, and to any model you connect yourself. Their own terms apply to their services, and we are not responsible for their content or services.

Feedback. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely without paying you.

Content

Your content. What you send to the Services is "Input," and what you get back is "Output." Together they are "Content." You are responsible for your Content, including making sure it does not break any law or these Terms.

Ownership of content. Between you and Secure AI, you own your Input, and you own the Output you receive, subject to the AI providers' terms.

Our use of content. We do not use your Content to train AI models. We use Content only to run and improve the Services, follow the law, enforce these Terms, and keep the Services safe. We never share your account identity with AI providers: your messages reach them through our servers, under our own account, with nothing that links the conversation to you. Private details inside a message (names, email addresses, phone numbers, card and bank numbers, national ID numbers and addresses) are swapped for stand-ins before it is sent, and put back in the response. This detection is not perfect, and anything it misses is sent as written. Our Privacy Policy describes what is and is not covered.

Accuracy. AI can be wrong, including about real facts, people and events. By using the Services, you understand and agree that:

• Output may not always be accurate. Do not rely on Output as a sole source of truth or factual information, or as a substitute for professional advice.
• You must evaluate Output for accuracy and appropriateness before using or sharing it.
• You must not use Output to make important decisions about a person (credit, employment, medical, legal, housing, or similar) without appropriate human review.
• Our Services may produce incomplete, incorrect, or offensive Output. Such Output does not represent Secure AI's views.

Our intellectual property

We and our affiliates own all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including our routing infrastructure, interface design, and security architecture. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use the Secure AI name, logo, or branding except as expressly permitted by us in writing.

Paid accounts

Billing. If you purchase a paid subscription, you will provide complete and accurate billing information, including a valid payment method. Paid subscriptions automatically renew each billing period until you cancel. You are responsible for all applicable taxes. If your payment cannot be completed, we may downgrade your account or suspend your access until payment is received.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time in your account settings, the App Store or Google Play. You keep access until the end of the current billing period. Payments are not refundable, except where the law requires it or as described under Discontinuation below.

App Store and Google Play subscriptions. If you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that store's terms apply and it manages your billing. Contact Apple or Google for billing questions about those purchases.

Price changes. We may change our prices. If we raise the price of your subscription, we will tell you at least 30 days ahead, and the new price starts at your next renewal, so you have time to cancel.

Termination and suspension

By you. You may stop using our Services and delete your account at any time.

By us. We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or if your use puts Secure AI, our users or others at risk. We may also close free accounts that have been inactive for more than a year, after giving you notice.

Appeals. If you think we closed or suspended your account by mistake, email company@secureai.one.

Discontinuation. We may shut down the Services after giving notice. If you have paid for time you cannot use, we will refund that part.

Disclaimer of warranties

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS." EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE SERVICE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SAFE.

YOU ACCEPT THAT ANY USE OF OUTPUTS FROM OUR SERVICES IS AT YOUR OWN RISK AND THAT YOU WILL NOT RELY ON OUTPUT AS A SOLE SOURCE OF TRUTH OR AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NEITHER SECURE AI NOR ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR LICENSORS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Indemnity

If you are a business or organization, to the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify and hold harmless Secure AI, its affiliates, and personnel from any costs, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from third-party claims related to your use of the Services, your Content, or any violation of these Terms.

Dispute resolution

Informal resolution. Before either party files a formal legal claim, we both agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Email company@secureai.one describing your concern, and we will try to resolve it within 60 days. Legal deadlines are paused during this time.

Arbitration. If informal resolution fails, you and Secure AI agree to resolve disputes through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring claims in small claims court. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of creating your account by emailing company@secureai.one with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out."

Class action waiver. Disputes must be brought on an individual basis only. Class actions, class arbitrations, and representative proceedings are not permitted. Only individual relief is available.

Jury trial waiver. To the extent permitted by law, both parties waive the right to a jury trial for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services.

Exceptions. This section does not apply to claims for injunctive or other equitable relief to stop unauthorized use or intellectual property infringement.

Copyright complaints

If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed by content on our Services, please contact us at company@secureai.one with the following information:

• A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
• A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on our Services.
• Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email address).
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

General terms

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms. We may assign our rights to any affiliate, subsidiary, or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. If a change affects you negatively in an important way, we will tell you at least 30 days ahead by email or in the app. Other changes take effect when posted. If you keep using the Services after a change takes effect, you accept it.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Secure AI regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Except as provided in the dispute resolution section, any legal action arising out of these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so in the future.

Trade controls. You must comply with all applicable trade laws, including export controls and sanctions. Our Services may not be used in or for the benefit of any U.S. embargoed country or territory, or by any individual or entity prohibited by applicable trade laws.
